Interview by Tiana McGee of A.Bevy at Winthrop University
Jalen Youmans says his open mind is his most impressionable trait. The Brunson, SC native and Clemson University student is willing to see other perspectives to understand the world and lead effectively in every way. Youmans believes authenticity is where true beauty lies. The most genuine and creative things come out of it. Authenticity gives us freedom to do more for the world overall. If he could impress anything onto this world, it would be the idea that we are all different, but we can and are still one. He hopes that others see how amazing it is to be different and think about the simple beauties in life, like watching the sun rise, more than self indulging. “Enjoy life.”
