Britney Barber IS from Jersey City, NJ, but Charlotte, NC is where SHE callS home. She is a recent May 2018 GRADUATE, of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

What are you passionate about and at what point/incident in your life did you recognize this passion is the key to your true path?

"I am on a journey of discovering my passion and owning that, however a field of interest is law and entrepreneurship. In the near future I will be taking my entrepreneurial skills to the next level and progressing from there. As far as law, I plan to study law and obtain my JD and practice  Business Law and Intellectual Property. I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer and I will become an attorney one day but it wasn't until this year that I had enough courage to that a leap of faith in entrepreneurship. While still working out the kinks, I will be a business owner by the end of the year."

How do you use your passion to illuminate change in the world?

"I know I have an alluring spirit, and I plan to use that to combat as many social issues I can get my hands on. The method to do so is still unclear for me whether that is through law, entrepreneurship, or with my own personal doing. I have a strong belief in mentorship and a passion for education reform, in my efforts of becoming an attorney and entrepreneur I will work to combat education disparities."

If you could leave one lasting impression on others what would it be and why?

"I hope to leave people with hope and belief that they could really accomplish ANYTHING if they just believe in themselves. One of my core values is support and I give support selflessly. If others supported themselves the same way I supported them, there is no doubt that they'll be successful."
