A.Bevy was founded in October 2009 by Bryant Kirk White during his time abroad in Jonkoping, Sweden. The organization was founded in reflex to the death of his grandfather, Ozell Kirk. Being the only man that Bryant ever looked up to, the impact of his grandfather's death forced him to reevaluate life as a whole.  Bryant realized that life is not about the things that his grandfather got for him on a daily basis, but more so what his grandfather did on a daily basis that would live forever - through Bryant and the many people whose lives he changed while he was alive.

The Ozell Kirk Scholarship was established to assist graduating seniors from Laurens District 55 High School in the discovery of their passion, path, and purpose.
