Fashion Defined is A.Bevy, Inc.'s longest running program. The following positions will make up the Fashion Defined program's team and will require immediate action upon hire for the FD16 season.

SHOW DIRECTOR

The show director oversees and orchestrates the mounting of Fashion Defined productions by unifying various endeavors and aspects of production. The director's function is to ensure the quality and completeness of the production and to lead the members of the creative team into realizing the artistic vision. The show director is to collaborate with a team of creative individuals and other staff, coordinate research, stagecraft, costume design, props, lighting design, acting, set design, stage combat, and sound design for the production.

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

The creative director leads the communication and concept of the creative team forward in any work assigned for production assists directors with production concept development, visual layout, and delegation of roles.  The creative director develops communication from the creative team to other directors, assists with creation of all marketing efforts and the layout/flow of all special event, and works with the model coordinator for selecting talent based on concept for productions.

FINANCE DIRECTOR

The finance director oversees the daily accounting operations of productions, including but not limited to: venue deposits and payments, vendor deposits and payments, payment of staff, award disbursement, donations, box office/ticket sales, and disbursement of allocated funds to each director. The finance director also works with venue management to set ticket prices, sales, and final payout.

ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR

The administrative director supervises the model coordinator, hair/mua team, and all volunteers, coordinates long-range and annual planning in collaboration with the program director, and records all meeting correspondences, and creates the agendas for team meetings. The administrative director assists with the organization ofcast & crew try-outs, practices, and coordination of special events and productions in conjunction with the creative team.

WARDROBE DIRECTOR

The wardrobe director is responsible for supervising all wardrobe related activities during the course of production runs, the care and proper maintenance of all costumes, shoes, and costume related personal props, and ensures the proper labeling, hanging, storage, and preset of all pieces. The wardrobe director creates and executes a proper guide for all garments, ensuring that they are returned by models and to retailers/designers after performances.

STAGE DIRECTOR

The stage director organizes the production and coordinates communication between various personnel (e.g., between director and backstage crew, or models and production team). The stage director serves as an adjunct to the show director by recording the blocking and ensuring that cast members stay on script, have the requisite props, and follow the blocking.

MARKETING DIRECTOR

The marketing director is responsible for coordinating, planning, and creating marketing strategies and materials for the Fashion Defined programs annual and long term ventures, events, opportunities, and partnerships including but not limited too press releases, flyers, graphic designs, banners, billboards, and handouts.  The marketing works with the program director to ensure the community knowledge of FD events and opportunities while also creating strategies to meet the fiscal budget for the program. 

MODEL COORDINATOR

The model coordinator oversees cast communications and relations throughout Fashion Defined productions, records and manages attendances and attendance policies, and cast sizes. The model coordinator is the lead contact for all cast and is responsible for cast tryouts along side the show directors.
